Hardy Fuchsia is a kind of flowering plant which is especially popular among flower friends in recent years. It not only blooms beautifully, but also flowers frequently, like little lanterns hanging on branches. From spring to autumn, flowers bloom continuously. Many flower friends say that Hardy Fuchsia is difficult to raise, mainly because it is difficult to spend the summer. It does not like the high temperature in summer. When the temperature is above 30 ℃, it will grow slowly. If it is higher than 35 ℃, it will directly cause death. Now it has entered the early summer, flower friends breeding hardy Fuchsia to avoid several misunderstandings, do a good job of “three don’t”, can let it bloom continuously, spend the summer without worry.
1.Do not give high temperature direct sunlight
In winter and early spring, hardy Fuchsia needs sufficient direct light, so that the pregnant buds can bloom. But now it has entered the summer, and the light is getting stronger and stronger. Many hardy Fuchsia of flower friends are in the flowering period. If you do not shade in time, it is easy to sunburn the leaves or make the flowers premature.
Give it the sun before 10 o’clock in the morning and after 5 o’clock in the afternoon, timely shade at noon, can make the flower bud open for a long time. If it is a window sill aquaculture, at noon, move it to a distance of one meter from the windowsill, scattered light can be. When the breeding temperature is too high, try to take cooling measures, such as often spray water to the leaves or move it to a cool room, while strengthening ventilation.
2.Don’t let the water run and the fat grow
In summer, the temperature is high and the evaporation of plant leaves is large. Some flower friends will increase the frequency and amount of watering. In fact, no matter in winter or summer, watering should be determined according to the dry and wet conditions of the pot soil. Hardy Fuchsia is not resistant to drought and waterlogging. Over drying will cause branches and flowers to droop and hinder growth; excessive humidity will cause rotten roots and fallen leaves. Before watering each time, use your hand to pick up the pot soil and water it when it is slightly dry below two or three centimeters.
Hardy Fuchsia also needs sufficient fertilizer supply at flowering stage, but it is not allowed to apply raw fertilizer or concentrated fertilizer, otherwise it is easy to burn root system under high temperature. In early summer, you can add some water-soluble fertilizer or potassium dihydrogen phosphate to the water when watering. You can also use diluted alum fertilizer water or bean cake water to irrigate the roots, once every 10 days, rather thin than thick. When the temperature is above 30 ℃, stop fertilizing.
3.Don’t let it grow after flowering, pruning is necessary
Hardy Fuchsia blooms in the branches. It has a strong flowering ability, and almost every branch will blossom. After opening a crop of flowers, cut off the residual flowers in time and trim the long branches to make the whole look more round. At the same time, cut off the weak branches inside to increase ventilation and light transmission.
After the new branches grow, they will continue to bloom with light and fertilizer. If it is not pruned after flowering, it will not only affect the beauty of the branch, but also hinder its flower bud differentiation again.
